harbour boosting, sideways buggying, harwood speed gps'ing, sometime kiteskiing, wave/washing machine kiting, gear breaking, driving about chasing the wind....

I read that paper over breakfast in Alexandra, great to see you guys out there doing it. Did two big road trips around the south island last month and saw no kiting or windboarding at all. Pretty much white caps all 'round, every lake, and with some of the best 25kt sideshore/3m swell conditions i've seen all down the west coast. No one sailing. Empty lake Wakatipu, Dunstan, Te anau, Pukaki, Milford, Wanaka, Hawea... pity, was really keen to see some action.

Also, browsing "The Press" today it struck me what a pack of cunzzors the french are. I knew all along of course, been there, experienced it for myself. However the article detailing the 41 nuclear bombs those retards detonated in the atmosphere in our South Pacific backyard did clarify for me the extent.

41 of the fcukers in the air... 134 of the fcukers down bore holes in a fractured leaky old volcano.

mmm yeah the wanaka crew are notoriously elusive that twisty lake helps them hide

about 7 or so kiters out on new years day at aviemore then it got way to windy for a few days later

We camped at some point up by the head of lake wanaka, Bob's point I think, and it was blowing warm NW down the lake with the head looking like GY, great spot. Bremner bay shallows were warm like bath water. Also "Craigieburn" up toward "the neck" on lake Hawea has a few points jutting out with nice flats behind.

"still in kicking back hoilday mode, so didn't bother"

Lucky you. I'm already back indulging my fetish for slicing, hacking and ripping flesh. No looooong holidays like in the Underground days... I did hear they might go back to work by February.

I'm sorry I think you'll find the Green Party blog over there on the left. Look out for the burning broom bushes.

that's some fantastic humour chris. I'd actually already prechecked that blog and there was no mention of the frenchies nuke report card so I thought I was safe from your lefty hecklin. Jeanette is a lovely lady and not a pyromaniac at all. Leave her be.
