Hi,

I'm off to NZ with my family in December. Aside from it being our honeymoon and a chance for my parents to meet our new baby, I'm hoping to do a bit of kitesurfing. We're off to the Coromandel for a week, and I'm trying to find any good beaches there. I'm still learning, can't quite stay upwind yet, so not wanting anywhere with too many waves. Something nice and simple would do fine

Suggestion: ditch the wife (some rugby head's sure to take her off your hands for a crate of Liojn Red), sell the bug for body parts and invest the spare cash in a new set of slingshots & a campervan and high-tail it to Taranaki, where the season's just getting underway.

Pick up your wife on the way back to the airport at the end of the season...
