Finally after countless hours of standing in the Chch easterly (not to mention the pooey) and sitting in front of this damn PC, this years DVD is about done.
The Ferrymead is booked on Wednesday 27th 7pm for anyone who wants a look. With any luck I may even have a couple of copies for anyone who wants one.

by the way...can't believe I'm doing this again but a bunch of us are off to the cairns kiteweek again. We are losers who do not learn, but for $300 bucks its hard to say no to a week in the sun (it's a little chilly here, and we have been spending heaps of time in the snow, so I am up for beach bizzo)

Hey man, I only went kiteboarding in the pooie once! ONCE! And that time I got told off for doing things too close to the edge. But i do miss watching people emerge from the water looking like human moro bars...all brown and slick. Noice.

And as for cairns, I'm still wondering about the logic of this one, but we are only going for a week and some of the people we have been doing mountain snowy things with are coming too, so it should be a chance to hang out with them without being preoccupied with how to pee outside without losing the skin off your whizza. Or maybe that was just me worrying about that one. And maybe you don't want to hear this...but it was thigh deep powder all the way...which is remarkably hard to walk any distance in...But the runs on the fields seem to be icy and pretty shit - so you are not missing much if you want to do normal snowboarding.

We had about 40 people at the release party last night.

Neil, "45" is another top class DVD - thank you for all your time and effort.
