:shock: i witnessed that incident. the guy got biffed 20 ft horizontally by his hand and came up clutching it in some pain. i was amazed he still had a hand!

apart from that ugliness, and the humor of seeing big spence attempt to deploy his 12m in a solid 35 knot gust - another sensational weekend of wave-riding was enjoyed by all with constant 30 knots, 25 and 20 knot sessions available if you could get a park.
