Yes we all know the kiter in question, he is a nice fellow and loves to kite shoal bay but unfortunately tends to boost AT other users! This has been the topic of many a conversation post-sesssion, and you are right, everyone has had problems around him, while not having issues with anyone else!
The explanation is that he is not mentally disturbed or crazy, but as blind as a bat. But this doesnt seem to worry him too much, so maybe he is a bit twisted. The fact of the matter is we are probably a bit soft and need to mention it but dont, which in all seriousness is a bit silly as someone will get hurt at some stage.
Aside from that it's a good laugh to watch.

Yes, I've had issues with this guys also. It was a windy day, everyone else was in control, but he gets hit by a gust and decides not to dig in a rail, but just head straight at me. There were plenty of options open to him, like drop his kite into the water, but he chose not to. I really don't know how we missed. He also doesn't know how to give way. He seesm to have OK skills, but there seems to be something missing up top that stops him from using them. If he can't see, I reckon he should a) wear lenses or b) don't kite where others are.
