yep were here it sucks... no wind
well no wind this morning that is but i'm sure it'll be blowing its tits off by this arfo. Into day 5 at the gorge and that will be day 5 in a row of kiting feeling alittle beaten up so if, in the unlikely event that, it dosn't blow this arfo the rest will be great.
the days all blend in but generally envolve sleeping in, finding coffee breakfast and redbull then hitting the sand bar for 5 hours more food beer shots etc etc. so far have used my 9m and 11m fuel.. mostly the 9m and often maxed on that.
lots of pro's in town ripping hard not to mention kids that have been kiting for 3month and now pulling all sorts of airial handlepass trickery
anyway winds coming so gotta go

Yep, Blown away, would be a good way of putting things. The level of Kiting action here is insane, I'm hoping some of it will rub off on me. We haven't had a day less than 20 knots, but more often than not, 30 +.
Already broken one board, felt pretty good too, it was Gavins!
SS gave him a new 'Misfit' as a replacement. Mark Doyle and Jeff T broke boards that same day, so I must be doing something right .
Anyway, work tomorrow, SS style
Keep ya posted

in case your wondering most of those boards were proto's and carnage is what happens when kite loops go wrong in 35+ knots. for tim it was a single loop to slam that he thought was going to break his legs... thanks Tim I needed a new board. Tobias is insane and when a double kite loop doesn't come together there are many pieces to pick up.

wow! you guys are my heroes! me, lee and big spencer had a helluva sesh at shakers last night. it was so windy i had to borrow an X3 80 - twitchy little rascal it was.

get a load of this: armie the hippy lost his roofbox full of kiting kit somewhere between waiwera and orewa.

i remember remarking on the structural integrity of his roofrack fastenings one day a hundred years ago.

anyway - back to work - another pisser of a day.

Gav you should have come to Cabarete! had two little brunette's lined up for ya.Cost me two hundred pesos but im sure they would have been worth it.

Out of the last 100 days there has prob been 5 that you couldnt sail a 12m or smaller, top that off with 30deg and this place cooks.

Gav if you run into a south african named Markus, and American Named Cameron, say hi. Two boys from Cabarete who are now in the gorge, hook up with those boyz and be prepared for carnage!!

yeah nick.. already have ...more carnage to come.
cheers GB
