I have quit my job and bought a ticket to Aukland in Dec ish, Started kiting about a month ago, staying up wind and just started jumping on purpose. We will be buying a car and prob be based in the Aukland area as we are staying with some friends who are en route round the world and getting married in Feb. Loking for any tips on places to sail, law & regulations etc or anything usefull about kiting in NZ, Is there a book about plaeces to sail? Hope you get the idea.

try to find a kiter in your area called Chris Stephens, he travelled by van through NZ last year, he'll be able to help you with some tips. I think he's active on the bksa forum

There is no book available for kiters, but there is a New Zealand surfing Guide.
Grab that, it will give you a reall good idea of where to explore.
Most large cities have 30 or more active kiteboarders and there are shops with info on Kite beaches in the big cities.
