Hey folks,
Just wondering if there is a club that organises events/ get togethers etc in the Auckland region? I have heard of the Moose Meet but not sure who runs it.

If there were such a thing (eg a loose/ informal club/ mob) who would be keen to get amongst?

Hi Chris

As such, there is no official club just for Auckland Kitesurfers. We like to think that we are a pretty communal and social bunch of people and there is a natural under sort of club that forms every time the wind blows. You will soon meet the same kites at the local spots as you start to frequent them more.

However in saying that, there definitely is the need for a bit more organisation to get together with like minded individuals for an arranged meet up in Auckland. With the sport growing every year, and more new faces that is a natural progression.... It's just that the wind blowers so much round here and I think every kiter likes a bit of space in their favourite patch.
