The wind is blasting up here.
Too much wind for richard on his 8m x2
and Shane on his whip. Arse drag down the beach sort stuff.

Guess that front is almost fully on us.
Someone out on a 5m now. think its Ian.

Also, see our man Brad in the Herald.
What a star!!!
Cracker of a pic.

Shit the power is browning out so goota switch this off quick.

Later, Lee

hey - who was that doing a loop on TV3 news tonight?

Looked like blue wave tray with some big sticker on the base?

Su, Matt, J and Morgan (plus a whole group of others) all got a session at South Brighton today, well over 20knots and gusty by all accounts, but plenty of swell and cross-on from the left.

Wow !!!

Sickest riding conditions of the month.
Alone in the dark with gusts over 30... Full speed on the waves, that's somehow crazy.

It's been such a long time without the 9. I almost forgot how great it is to ride a small kite. Don't want to use a 15 anymore... never!
Same kind of conditions that we had before a week before the Kitesports Challenge, remember...

I just had to give up because of the huge potential of injury... Average jumps high enough to see Bridge Street over the roof of the South Brighton Surf Club ( a good checkpoint! I think), and no clue about when to land... Quite hard for the knees sometimes... And also the wind was cranking again, and the rain came again, with stronger gusts. That was quite insane...
It was a quickie, with just an hour on the water but it was soooooo good !

The best way to flush my brain after a week at work.
Tomorrow ???
all we do is Portnawake
