Just heard from a reliable source that Marc Jacobs came 2nd in the single eliminations at the PKRA Thailand (beating the world champ in the process).

Torrins over there too, but not sure where he ended up. Just thought we should spread the word and celebrate the fact that we have such awesome talent here in NZ (both Torrin and Marc.

Marc has definitely stepped up a notch over the past year, kite really low and super powered, more so than most on the PKRA tour. Pretty impressive considering many of these "pros" have rich parents and spend most of the year in Tarifa and Brazil.
Maybe it helps to train in our gusty erratic conditions where it only blows a couple of days a week (if you're lucky).
