Hi, I've been trying to get into this for a couple of years but have always "not had the energy" or just had the wrong timing, heading to the wrong location I guess. It would be great if someone with experience who knows the local spots could give me a heads up when the conditions are right and they're heading down.. I'm living in Manukau, working on the North Shore and have a 12m Griffin. Been to Pine Harbour and Shoal Bay so far.

def read the other posts already here and make friends with deano beano who has just been through the curve and kites more often than i have hot lunches. i dont kite surf so thats about all the help i can give

Also i guess if you haven't don much if anything for a couple of years some refresher lessons would probably be worthwhile.
