I saw neil's new DVD yesterday : "34" and I wanted to say a big BRAVO to him.
He spent of lot of time filming and editing the DVD and it's a real success and a very good work. The footage are great, the riders are ... heu ... great , the editing has nothing to envy to the Tronolone productions or other kiteboarding DVDs.

Instead of bitching on each other people should try to get involved in this kind of stuff not only to promote the sport in their area but also to develop a real friendly kiteboarding community.

Have fun on the water if your lucky to have wind!

Last night release party for "34" went well, with an excellent turn out of the local crew.

Like Delphine said the footage is great - an awesome mix of on the water footage, mountain boarding, kite snowboarding and road trips. The editing is tight and well matched to the sound track.

Well done Neil, your work is well and truly in the pro league.

Anyone who would like a copy its only $15 on DVD or VHS, Neil tells me they will be available sometime next week.

Yeah its a pretty tight crew down here - we seem to all turn up if there is something on. Having the CWA as our focus seems to make a difference + plus with the estuary we have all ride/progress together.

You'll have to talk to Neil about AKL sales, but I know he won't be back in town until Saturday.

PS - A side note on Hugh Pinfold - this guy must have been BORN with a board on his feet, in "34" he is seen ripping on a kiteboard, mountain board (kite and downhill), snowboard and skateboard...

Yeah plenty - Pete, Chris, Fiona and even Neil - the guy that made the video - flys them!

That seals it. Got to have one. No doubt there is a bit of camerman bias towards the P.L. crew. I'll email Tim to sort out a copy.

The only bias is to Hugh. He's got a finger in every pie, so to speak..
Tim should have a few copies now. It's taken a few days to start spewing them out.
