Got a 11m ozone instinct 2008, dt realy know if it's the sport one or the other one.. Anyway had 2 or 3 sessions this week and 2 times the same problem, if my kite flip over, get the 5 line around the kite and it put a big mess in my lines especialy if my kite keep fliping over, cannot realaunch and have to swim back to the shore.... lame isnt it !
Just wanted to know if anyone already had the same problem with this kite and if I could get rid of the 5 line to go on 4!!

Cheers

Your kite won't fly right without the 5-th line. I have the 2008 11m Ozone Edge on the same 5line setup and I had no problems with it wrapping. Though it has the line that runs from wingtip to wingtip to help prevent what you talk about. My kite flipped and wrapped and went through the lines in the last storm and I managed to recover without going to land.

Keep the 5th

the kite wont fly without it, and if its inverting on ya, then you are letting the bar out when the kite is at the top of the windwindow. keep some pressure on the bar to keep the back lines a little tighter, the 11 sport is a pretty awesome kite, and you will get to love the 5th line it provides a lot of stability and high end depower.

Enjoy

I have on Ozone Instinct II 12 metre (2008) and have faced the same problem, which I found really frustrating. If the kite rolls over in a wave then the fifth line strangles the kite and a trip to the beach is required to untangle the mess. I have got used to the kite and try to keep it from rolling over in the surf. However, when the kite is on the water, it just sits on its side waiting for input and up it flies, which I like. I am new to the world of kites but I think the issue of the fifth line wrapping itself around the kite affects all kites with five lines in the described circumstances.
Hmm, to kitesurf or to landboard? That is the question for a kite addicted junkie.
