Hey Bro, yeah I came across that one but for slightly cheaper I also saw this one.

Ideally, I'm looking for one that's a bit cheaper than both of these because I will need to replace the 12 metre at some point over the next season. I also need to upgrade the land board.

theres an older one bro.

you could also look at getting a kite only that. will save you some cash.

I endorse the 8m light. I have one (spent 7hours on it at the 24hr) and it is a cracker of a kite. i can stay upwind bellow 20 knots and hold it to 40+ knots squalls.

Yeh, i'm going to stop in Raglan and inspect this one, a little bro for my 12.I am mindful of your exploits on the 8 and am also considering that kite as well.

9 or 8 m isn't big winds territory, at all.
7 or 6m is more like it, and those small kites are just insane fun with a megahuge range when used with a surfboard.

Depends where you kite for sure, but there's definitely a need for a wee kite around Chch.

The search is over - I have settled on a Slingshot Rev II (2009), 7 metre and OMG it's crispy all over. The previous owner purchased the unit new three months ago and being 100kgs he did not use it very much. $450 with bar and lines
