Neil Briggs has just put the finishing touches on his new Christchurch kiteboarding video "34", the follow-up to last summers "23".

To celebrate its release weve booked the big screen at the Ferrymead Tavern for next Wednesday night.

Those who have seen 23 know Neils work is top quality, and there is nothing like seeing you and your mates ripping it up on video!

A few retailers stocked 23 on both VHS and Disc - including Kitesports.co.nz, their contact details are on this site.

34 isn't out yet, hence the release party next week, once it is no doubt the same shops that had 23 will also have this one...

Can't wait to see it - I've only watched my copy of 23 about 100 times in the last year!

Also Im moving to chch in July where do I go to join up to attend the nights at the Ferrymead where all the kiters get together for a few quiets???

Where are you at the moment? I haven't seen you since you headed to the ice.

You would have seen Stomp playing on the TV at Eastcoast, they may have a copy to sell, otherwise Kane should be able to sort you out - maybe he will reply to this thread?

The CWA has wound down for the season, we will get back into the swing of things after winter.

Over the summer we have regular club nights at the Ferrymead Tavern, usually with a theme or event on - like this video release. We also run events like the Lake Clearwater Camp and the Canterbury Champs.

In August I'm hoping to run a planning meeting to 'kick start' the club into next season, I'll keep you (and everyone else) posted.

As for a quiet beer or two - most weekends someone has a BBQ or something similar, keep in touch with Morgan or I once you arrive back and we will keep you in the loop.

Sitting up in dirty old Palmerston North at the mo mate. Watching my Slingshot DVD everyday!

Yeah I only stopped off for a few days after I got back from the ice(sadly) but got back to work in Palmy and after about two days realised whats important(kiting of course) and decided to move to chch permanently.

Talked to Morgan just afta his trip north with all your demo gear, and felt very jealous.
