Monday 7th June - meet at Ferguson Park boat ramp area (click here for location details and map) at 10am for briefing, first possible race start 10.45am.


Divisions - 1: Race Division (any board that's directional)

2: Other Division (twintip's only)

Entry: $5.00

Prizes: Winner takes all!

Format: Triangular course. 2 x races.

Race Division: 3 x around course. Other Division: 2 x around course.

Start: Standing beach start to windward

Finish: Downwind through bottom mark and finish mark.

sounds cool. what distance is the race?

but alas i wont be there thus time. maybe put it on my callender for next year.

is there any other racing going on around the country? i'm much more keen on speed/distance and racing than freestyle.

The course won't be too long, depending on conditions we will aim to make a course that will take approx 15-25mins in total i.e. all laps completed. Time will depend on the racer and class, Race class is 3 laps, twintip class is 2 laps.

We will aim to have at least 2 races.

We are planning on having more weekend fun events like these this season. Anything we have going on will be posted on here and on the website. www.assault.co.nz

RACE DAY DATE CHANGE

Due to forecasts on Sunday (very heavy rain) we have decided to run the races on the Monday 7th.

Monday is looking good with a 20-25knot forecast and hopefully without the rain!
