I made a short show about the kiwis that represented NZ at the PKRA in New Caledonia a few weeks ago. 9 out of 10 days of wind in tropical waters, it was an awesome location for an event blowing direct offshore so no dramas on the beach for spectators, and perfectly flat water for the competitors.

Maybe next year they should not put up any tents/stages behind the beach though as they created an unnecessary wind shadow in one part if you had your kite low for setting up a trick.

Yuri Zoon was a real standout rider after snapping his ACL twice in the last 2 years and being unable to ride most of the time - but now he is back and riding really powered and with great style, and of course the kiwis as you probably already know did really well.
