Thanks to Cabrinha and WSP we are able to offer the kiteboarding public of NZ a great opportunity to try something different.

Pay it forward – Wakestyle.

Cabrinha, WSP and myself have put together one of the ultimate wake style set ups that will be available for anyone in New Zealand to try. The idea is that I will put together a PROPER wakestyle board, complete with a set of wake style bindings that anyone in New Zealand can borrow to get a taste of riding a specially designed wake style board. This way anyone can give true wakestyle riding a proper go with the right tools for the job. A brand new 2010 Cabrinha Custom 140 complete with small fins and a pair of Liquid Force bindings is ready to rock.

The concept is pretty simple and goes something like this: Send me your contact details, and I will put you on the pay it forward list. The first person to sign up will get the board sent to them, to use for a few sessions. The only catch is that you have to be prepared to post the board on to the next punter after you have had a good use. Other than that it is free reign!

Give the dark side a go – try out the latest 2010 Cabrinha Custom board complete with bindings no strings attached. It doesn’t matter if you are new to kiting or the freestyle king, anyone is welcome to ride the board. Your only obligation is to send the board on and share the love.

If you are keen, send an email to:

Haha yea for sure, this set up is what Harry Potter dreams of. Seriously though most kiteboards feel horrible with boots on them because they are designed for straps (too narrow, not stiff enough and not enough rocker). This way you get to try a wakestyle board how its meant to feel.

Shall I put you on the list TB? No low mobes allowed...

The board has been sent to the first recipient and should show up today or tomorrow. The list isnt too long at the moment if anyone else is keen to get on it.
