Wow - what a week, Snowboarding at Mt Ruapehu, Surfing at Mt Maunganui, kiting at Raglan and Orewa plus meeting hundreds of NZ riders along the way.
Aaron was stoked with the trip and the laid back welcome New Zealand gave him. He could also see the potential of all of our spots, even if the wind was not really around while he was here. Fingers crossed we can get him back again in the future.
We have a whole heap of people to thank so in ‘as the trip ran’ order here they are:
Chris Gebbie – thanks for having us stay at Pukenui lodge and thanks for guiding us on Whakapapa for the day.

Jesse and Jasmin, thanks for being our guys on the ground in Tauranga – getting the crew together, sorting out media and getting that DVD!

Olly and the Raglan Kite Club, the accommodation you sorted for Aaron was top class – thanks for that. (Oh and finding us some useable wind – thank the magic carpet!)
Willy from Wind and Kite (or is that NZ Kiteboarding?), great to see you drive up all the way from Wellington, can’t wait to see your pics.

Brian, Dean and the rest of the NZ Boardstore crew for getting a BBQ sorted on short notice – sorry the original plans didn’t come thru but we were stoked on the reception we got when we did make it - Cheers.

Dan Joblin – mate we left so much in your hands and you sorted it all – Saturday night was a blast but that is the last time we let you order rounds for the whole crew…
Chucky – you know why we need to thank you but you also know we can’t say why.
The Beachcomber Motel in Orewa – these guys gave Aaron a room on Sunday afternoon to get sorted before we headed to the airport – small thing but made a big difference.

Finally thanks to ALL the kiters that came and met Aaron along the way, some of you traveled a lot of km’s to see him and that didn’t go unnoticed.
Best regards,
