Best we take note before it happens here - my bet is Takapuna would be the first to go in Auckland if we all got out of hand. I reckon our saving grace is that the wind is rarely in any one direction for long enough for us to become a serial nuisance (if you exclude the constant NW's we had in Jan/Feb)

yep Taka's not a summer days light wind spot and definately not a beginners spot. best kept for those howling N-easters, rare but a hell of fun when they happen like a couple of weeks ago.

i do agree however on you remarks on blownaways so called 'secret spots'. they are all crap, all of them, every single one of them. i don't know which drug he fried his brains with when he came up with all that crap on thermals and shit. however when he's not whacked on P he seems to have some constructive stuff to say. so it seems. and no i have never seen blownaway in the flesh, and i don't think i want to either!

yep it was me all along. i'm surprised shaun wasn't onto it earlier as he should be able to trace the ISP etc and find that all the bogus names were coming from the same computer. or maybe he DID know about it all along and was just enjoying the ride and was keen on seeing what unfolded :twisted:
