Hey guys
I am looking to buy an impact vest and am not quite sure what the good brands are.
I like the look of the Mystic shield vest that assault have on their web site as its reasonably priced and can be used with a seat and a waist harness. Does anyboday have one of these?? can they shed a bit of light on wether they are any good??

I am a bigger guy (100kgs) and have been told that the dakine matrix is made for the smaller rider and would probably not fit me!!

Any advise that you guys could give me would be awesome!

Whatever fits and has good coverage around your ribs is what you are after in a vest. I have just got hold of a new NPX impact vest and they are pretty stretchy. You don't notice it on and it provides more range of movement. I think they should be available in the next month or two if you can wait. I own last years NPX vest and that works well as well. Try stuff on and see what works for you.

Those NPX vests look really nice. hopefully someone might start selling them soon!

Wildwinds reckon they will be receiving them in ealy October.
