Dudes,

In late September I am looking to go for a weeks vacation up north somewhere to do a bit of kitesurfing.

Any comments on good places to base myself at where there is good kite spots in all winds - here hoping

Any interest folks - have to have a coffee and put a plan together if anyone wants to join me

The only place I know north - is ruakaka - some great spots - but was think of going way north - say doubtless bay - or up around that area.

Any suggestions welcomed

hey im heading up ther from september the 7th till the 11th going to ninty mile beach

thanks for this - unfortunately I am not free till much later in sept.

90 mile beach area is always somewhere i would love to kite.

let me know any good areas, or tips and i would really appreciate it.

ah no worries if you google cape reanga there are a few good looking beaches around it and 90 mile beach just happens to be on the way

Hey mate.
If you are heading up to Doubtless bay you cant miss Tokerau beach, Absolutly awesome and a great kite spot. It has nice waves and is a pretty big beach so if you have a 4X4 you can drive on the beach till you find a nice spot. There is usually other kiters up there so im sure they will be able to let you know all the ins and outs!
