Hey Guys,

Im planning a trip to one of the islands, cheapest option so far is SAMOA...
Has anyone been kiting/ have any info about sweet spots there??

Also, if you guys have any tips/warnings as this is my first trip to those ways, would be a major HELPer!

We are taking a group to Savaii, Samoa in August, still have some space left if you are keen. $1275 gets you flights, transfers, a fale on the beach, breakfast/dinner and access to two very experienced instructors (with three NZ titles between them).

The beach we are staying at is wide and easy to rig on and the lagoon is coral head free. The SE trade winds are also side shore making for a really safe and friendly riding enviroment.

The south coast of Upolu, is pretty good in the predominant SE trades. There are also some very good surf breaks. Coconuts has the biggest sandy beach for launching.

For the last two years I have taken two weeks kiting at Manase Beach,Savaii [the other island in Samoa - way more traditional,laid back and chilled]. Stayed at a place called Vacations in a fale on the beach with the lagoon about ten meters away from my hammock.Pumped my kites once,left them on the beach and out of 14 days I had 12 wicked days kiting.I so wish I was going back this year.
