Bummer!

Its a sad fact that car break ins happen out here at Muriwai in the isolated carparks in winter!

There are ratbags who troll for isolated cars; they know you're not coming back quickly once they see the contents of your car!

The cops in Kumeu are very well aware and did a great job over summer, but in winter they don't have the same frequency of visit necessary to , hopefully, kill this crappy stuff.

My advice.....don't leave anything you can't afford to lose in your car, anywhere!

Recently some scumbags took stuff out of a car next to mine.....that was being loaded at Te Atatu!
We were all there and ....zoom....it was gone and they were gone up the road before anyone knew what the heck had happened

So clearly its become an issue anywhere......

its a real shame that you cant go out and have a good time without some wanka ruining it for you.
hope your gear gear turns up sam.

bummer...pity they didn't just take the whole truck eh?? Upgrade to a 4WD and park on the beach where you can see it.

hope you get your stuff back. it's a smallish network so you should do. maybe pay a visit to cash converters onehunga, seems a popouar place for things to turn up.

yeah it was a good day teaching the misses to fly the trainer and when we went to get the gear to get on the water it was gone not only did the break in to our car but they hit 4 others and a horse trailer the total cost for me to replace everything is between 15k and 17k.

It was a work truck and the insurance on it only covers truck damage and company equitment not tools. my house contense insurance only covers it if it was in the house at the time. And i need marine insurance to claim for my kites as its a different catogory to house contense.

so i would take front end damage anyday

this really sucks and i want my gear back so if any one sees a new blade flying around please see if it has a repair to the leading edge left hand side chances are its mine as no one else really has these

i did find the thruster tho it was recovered at a cash converters in henderson today

to add to that day she broke her finger and my xbox 360 died lol
oh well im buying a big wendsday tick this week and if i win i will actuall pay to have a military squad patroling the carlot for us kiters.

fingers crossed i win and my gear turns up

thanks
