benmore, not really, dunno about tekapo or pukaki, but the wind is looking ne tomorrow

aviemore yes. either over by waitangi station on the north side of the lake or between parsons rock and the big gravel cliffs on the south side. there is or used to be a sign saying somebody's favorite fishing spot, go down there and through the wooden gate by the willow trees. launch in the paddock and keep the gate shut. its the western end where the power lines leave the lake edge

but much better in the seabreeze which should be howling tomorrow (it was here in dn today) is lake waitaki. it's flatter and funner!

go past aviemore dam and turn toward lake waitaki where the sign says north otago power boat club

go through the gate, through the t-rex pen (it's obvious!) and head for where the river meets the lake. launch over by the cows into the river channel and head into the lake.

you can zoom through the reeds, jump the maimais watching out for the sticks under the water and have a great time...

if u get lost call me on 021 514 252, i'll be at work but happy to point you in the right direction

have fun!
craig.
harbour boosting, sideways buggying, harwood speed gps'ing, sometime kiteskiing, wave/washing machine kiting, gear breaking, driving about chasing the wind....
