what abut wind stability in NZ... where is it gusty and where not? I'm specialy interested in northlands.

Ahaha .... its kinda always gusty ^^ in my opinion ... around Aucks ... but there are some really good days .. specially in summer ^^ Ruakaka, muriway, orewa tend to get more of the good steady windy days ,humm raglan, shakspear, waiheke, and heaps of spots actually get good days if i think about it ... it really depends ... and helps if your prepared to drive a bit ... hahaha ... as long as you don't go to Pt Chev you'll be fine !!!!

what do you mean it's always gusty? how strong are gusts? from 10 to 25 or 15 to 20 knots?
