50 knots has finally fallen to Kites.. the outright record (still to be ratified by the WSSRC) was pushed to 50.26 knots by Sebastien Cattelan (FRA) in Luderitz on friday!!
Accompanied by several high 49 knot runs from himself, Alexandre Caizergues and Jerome Bila (all France) he was the only sailor finally getting to 50.26 knots.
Looks like Rob Douglas couldnt keep his board on the water in the wild conditions and has let the world record slip from his fingers even before it was ratified.... but Sat is forecast for an even bigger day!
