Hi,

I'm looking to start kitesurfing and i've been advised to get a couple of lessons beforehand. So if anyone wants to teach me or knows a good place to get lessons in the auckland area, please reply or PM me. I'd need the kitesrfing gear (minus wetsuit).

I'm about 85kg, 6ft and have surfed and snowboarded quite a bit before. I've also owned a 3.5m power kite for a while and can fly it pretty well.

He is in the SI all this week at the Wanakite snowkiting event, but I'm sure he will point you in the right direction after he gets back.

Otherwise if you are keen on a day out of the city we do full courses based in Ruakaka, 1.5hrs drive north of the harbour bridge. Beaches are safe and we have spots for every wind direction. You can call us on 0508 KITESPORTS
