I have only used the North Vegas 08 and feel there is more than you would ever need. But I don't really like bow kites.
Just my opinion

Thanx Adrian.

I've heard anything from 60% upwards of depower depending on who replied. What are modern c kites like for self landing? (the old ones were terrible for this). Infact do bows have any advantages at all over the modern c kites? I've been told that for gusty conditions bows are still way better.

na c-kites are the future. the 08 North Vegas has tonnes of depower, and for self launching its a peice of cake with any c kite on 5th line.

a smooth c-kite can handle gusts just aswell as a bow in my opinion. bows will probably always have abit more wind range, but the modern c-kites have got more than twice the depower that they used to have and are so much more stable they eat up the gusts.

oh woops i thought you asked about self launching. c-kites are pretty easy to self land too. if its mental wind and you arent confident to do the normal put it down and pull the steering line to move the kite around then instead you can release it on 5th line and pull in the 5th line till you reach the kite.
