Forecast is for some NE tending NW in Chch, which could be a good opportunity to do a day trip to Lake Coleridge and score some fresh watered strong wind action with insane boosts in a beautiful scenery.
Just a different kiteboarding experience than the usual 13kts at the poohey.

A few kites in the sub 9m category will be available for testing/sharing.

The more the merrier.

Keep u posted

Isn't it kite yoda tomorrow? We could hold it in 40 knots, that'd be cool!

yep, looks like most people I talked to are mostly interested in the Yoda comp.

Forecasts look good for both options...
Typical Coleridge 8m conditions...
Canterbury High country:
Sun Dec 16 Issued at 5:27 pm 15 Dec 2007 NZDT
Fine with increasing high cloud.
Wind at 1000m: Northwest rising to 50 km/h.
Wind at 2000m: Northwest 70 km/h at times.

or typical estuary conditions...

Tomorrow: Northeast 10 knots, rising to 15 knots in the evening. Sea slight. Fine with some high cloud.

I think I'll still do the lake thing, for a change...
