Well it's been waaaaay to long since i've dragged the kite out (6yrs to be honest) and before I go and get a quick refresher lesson (this is definetly going to be needed...) but I want to set the kite up and have a little play... problem is I can't remember where the lines go... (remember newbie here)... I thinking I recollect outside (bar end) lines go to the trailing edge of the kite, and center (depowering...??) go to the leading edge?? Again I can't but feel this is a stupid question (maybe I'm not the first to ask it) but I want to be sure, and not get it wrong!!

Thanks in advance...

Hi Lofty, yes correct, six years is while.

Things have changed dramatically since then. It's a new sport with new technology and terms. If your kite is that old, its time you upgraded onto something a little user friendly. You will be amazed how quick you are able to pick things up these days with kites being so advanced.

hehe so was that right on the lines? or right on the "six years is awhile"...

I have moved from the Nelson to the mount now... so a bit far to come for lessons/gear I'm afraid. But when I was there I did goto kitescool for a couple of lessons... unfortunetly time and old age have not been my friend, and things get forgotton easily.

Just want summer to roll on, nice 15-20knt winds (maybe I should move back to nelson), and all the sunshine you can handle...
