did anyone else see the kite stuck on the top of the mast at shoal bay on friday. poor bastard.

did he get it down? Shoal bay would have been blastin all last week. Went there on tuesday as over the top at PH. Just a pointer for anyone heading to Shoal Bay for the first time... that mud will stick to ya kite.... don't use it for self launching. Otherwise its a safe as spot. nowhere near as gusty as what i was expecting either.. compared to eastside it's steady as.

Prob best to not piss off the boaties too much though.. we don't wanna lose a spot like that.

PS: i was the guy with the 7m waroo handling like shit cos the mud made it jellyfish like an underinflated 7.5m 2001 ARX... hahahaha

North shore kiters it'd be great to see some of you guys at PH one of these days... it's not too nasty out this way and there are plenty of boat masts in the marina if you get homesick :twisted:

is the kite still up there.. can you see it from the motorway?
