why do they do it to us? (or, why do i do it to myself?)

Saturday: Northeasterlies rising to 20 knots for a time.

hmmm... just like the 25 to 35 we were meant to get last Sunday .

Still, I live in hope!

Shane,
That's a terrible thing for the morale!

I think you've found the reason why I have this image in my profile...

yeah we get some good scary beach riding in the sw

lack of light after work stops us mostly, but if we get weekend wind we'll be out there

tends to be no wind or way too much this time of year

we've got about 11knots nne at the mo so i'm hoping for the morning

you're about the only chch rider on here I don't know.... weird.... i'm up there most events all summer... going to be up central for wanakite I reckon, already told work I'm having a day or two off.....

Now that was a great day!

Bring on that global warming carnage - I love small kites

Hope you all had as much fun as we did

christchurch was rocking! picked up to about 11 knots... you know that wind that's just enough to make you think there is enough but in reality isn't... then just as it almost got there, it didn't, then it pissed it down (and still is).

oh well, at least the 10 to 20 forecast was right, the're getting there.

roll on spring!

mal wimped out! i have to send my trade-in kites back and it's too coooold.... waaaa

gav was too late and had too small gear and wimped out... waaaa

phil was in chch, no gear, waaaaaa

i think andy went out at long beach,,,,

i went to harwood rode the 17 vortex and scimitar then the 20m proto scopion and scimitar, wasn't too bad, got ok powered and did some wee 6 foot jumps

wind was nne, 5 to 20 knots, and drizzling, 5.7 deg when I left the house, not too cold, just slightly swollen fingers now...

then off to the simpsons movie, spiderpig, spiderpig, looooooookout it's a spiiiiderpig....
