been out kiting all morning, so overpowered on the 9m it was nuts, looks like cranking easterlies all week, thank god for school holidays

Channel island is currently at 69 knots. Spence should go out. He'll prob be under powered on is 12m tho!

I got trapped in a hut on the side of Whakapapa ski field.
Gale to Storm force winds and Blizzard conditions outside
Couldn't get back to my car which was in #10 carpark, right in the path of the 150-200km/hr gusts. 2 days later when I got to the car the paint was stripped and the windscreen pitted all over - check out the damage...


'bout 40 cars had windows smashed by the force of the wind...

.. decided to leave the 5m Peter Lynn Reactor in my car boot for this trip ...
