Lost my red waroo 9 metre at Glendowie spit today. HP leash snapped and off she went downwind. Thanks to the guys who tried to rescue it. If the guy on the windsurfer who tried to rescue it reads this I hope you managed to get it. I lost sight of you in the end so dont know if its safe with you or blown out to sea. If you or anyone else has found it please call Glenn on 0274948222.

BTW do the windsurfers have a forum like this??

Yeah, I got it back. I'm soooo stocked. Thought it was a gonner. Some guy working on a ship the other side of Browns Island picked it up. He thought it was Xmas, so he stuck it on Trade-Me today. He was cool about it though. He even washed it. Well worth the 2 doz heineken!. Theres not even a mark on it.
This weekend I'm gonna get me a monster leash that will never break-it was a Naish leash BTW, broke just below the neoprene sleeve.

Thanks to whoever gave him the heads up about the kite. This community really works sometimes!

nice to see most people are honest enough.

when you can buy a waroo for $300 with bar and lines, and the guy selling it knows nothing about kiting must be somthing dodge.

Well glad you got it back.

the Best handle pass leash aint that good lost my kite few times usally have to do quick swim, sprint up beach to catch it no damage so that all good.

lets hope we get some decent wind soon
