howdy, just got into kiting this summer, need to buy a steamer for the winter, mostly riding around auckland and just north, maybe some raglan and taranaki too, should i get a 3/4 mil or a 3/2 ?
love to hear some feedback / recomendations...

If you go the 3/2 you will likely want a 'hot-top' to go underneath for those COLD SW days. I perfer to go this way as it keeps the rubber to a min for most sessions. Also the hot-top is good to wear on its own in early summer before the true board-short sessions start.
