Yeah still polishing and ironing but onto the firing range on monday with our rifles. Having wicked fun down here and only 15 more weeks to g until i finish this course and then im off to start wings in August or something.

Im up in Auckland on the 10th April for an inter base sports tournament between all three services. I will try and pop down to the beach to see how your going, how are you doing actually?going to the aussie nats?Jamie tells me he's onto a Mobe 5 and a Mobe to revert which is pretty sick, i would love to see it in action. Speaking about that im starting to get some serious withdrawel symptoms from kiting dude, missing it big time and am worried that i will forget how to kite lol,

yeah mate it was the styer, wicked rifle although i hav'nt tried any other anyway. went and had a range shoot today, was so cool, got a good score however it was only on the 25m range, we go to the 300 m range in about 3-4 weeks.

Got an exercise next week which is 5 days in the bush as well as all these ludacris exercises.

anyway gta go, have to get ready for inspection tomorrow

yo golly, im stil in oz. soooooo stoked landed a wraped mobe but cant get it agen haha. i got 3rd in the first finals and now going thu the repacharges. i am getting close to blind judges. mark jacobs is either 1st or 2nd. we are in the sickest spot ever! oh man and yesterday there was a massive spider out side mi room like the size of mi hand :shock: :shock: haha

a wrapped mobe could be mistaken as a mobe to wrap (2 handle passes). what brock means is a back roll to wrap, which is nearly a mobe, but the bar isnt passed in the air, you pass it after you have hit the water. hope that makes sense....

what i ment was some people could get confused. if you told them you landed a wrapped mobe, it could sound like a mobe landing wrapped. (when you told me in aus, it sounded like a mobe landing wrapped. but i knew what you ment)

to me i wouldnt say a wrapped mobe, as there was no 'mobe'. it was a back roll to wrap. so wouldnt it be called a back roll to wrap?? i do know what you mean though brocky boy. (i prob sound like a fag, not trying to though)

Actually..... its still a mobe. As long as it has an invert and a 360 its still a mobe. Ask any wakeboarder.

Just like a crow mobe - its a toeside front to blind, but still a mobe...

But really who cares? Both ways are cool. At least with a wrapped mobe there is no dangle.

Educate me here - is a wrap then any trick you land to blind and pass the bar around your back- ie just an extra backside 180 - but the pass is not in the air?

Nah Ian - wrapped is the 4th dimension, these being:

1st - Healside - riding on healside edge with the bar held in front of you
2nd - Toeside - riding on toeside edge with bar held in front of you
3rd - Blindside - riding on toeside edge with bar held behind you
4th - Wrapped - riding on healside edge with bar held behind you

A back roll to wrapped is the most common way to get into this position, and is a stepping stone to a powered back mobe air pass.

Think about it this way, throw a back roll and while inverted you let go with your front hand and wrapped your back arm behind your back. You will land the back roll on your healside edge and your back arm ready to make the pass to your forward hand.

We are calling landing blind when the rider does a backside 180 landing with the bar behind their back, and landing wrapped when the rider does a frontside 360 rotation without passing the bar in the air and landing with it behind his back.

Ha - I don't know what any of you are saying. The only bit I understood was the toeside bit! I just call them twisty tricky things and be done. I'll do the commentary for the next Nationals - should mix it up a little!!

Gee i think i remember doing a "wrapped mobe" the other day. I hit a wave (bit of chop at Pine Harbour) and somehow ended up upside down, i then did an S bend (well a T Bag anyway) and landed BLIND (couldn't see a damn thing with all that water rushing by) and then got WRAPPED up in my kite lines and the kite powerlooping all over the place... so not only was it a wrapped mobe but a DOWNLOOP WRAPPED MOBE... wow. And to top it off i demonstrated my complete wakestyle expertise by throwing a TANTRUM on the beach cos my kitelines were all tangled. all without even trying :twisted:
